Join us as we commemorate the first anniversary of Professor Dr. Banu Onaral’s passing with a day dedicated to the science, innovation, and community she inspired.

Banu Onaral devoted her life to advancing biomedical engineering, entrepreneurship, and global innovation ecosystems. As the founding leader of Drexel’s School of Biomedical Engineering, Science & Health Systems, she championed translational research that improves lives, from optical brain monitoring to global health technologies and commercialization pathways.

The Banu Onaral Research Symposium celebrates her enduring legacy by bringing together distinguished colleagues, former trainees, students, and collaborators from around the world.

This day-long event highlights:
